This weekend, Justin and I decided to get out!!!
So, the plan was to take a bus to the golden gate bridge, walk over the bridge and explore the Marin Headlands. Of course, we invited people to tag along if they wanted to. So we were entertained by the company of Marcia and Mark.
We basically drove up to the 1st tourist bridge view spot and hicked down a dirt road to the water (easy to go down…but you gotta come all the back up!). Of course we treated ourselves with Oreo cookies at the end.
The weather was a little chilly and windy at times, with some clouds and light fog, which created dramatic scene at times.

Light spots on the ocean. Taches lumineuses sur l’océan.
A neat perspective of the famous bridge.Une perspective interessante du pont célèbre.
I have almost that exact same picture of the bridge. I know the little alcove you took it from.
Matt, I’m sure you do! Looks like any picture of the bridge is a classic…it’s mainly to please my Mom…she loooooves this bridge!
Great photos! The one of the light beams turned out great. Now where are the ones with you in them? (I guess we will have to wait for Justin to put some up. You beat him to a blogging opportunity!)
I look forward to reading about your further adventures :)
Yet another photo of Justin making a goofy face. You know there’s an acronym for that: YAPOJMAGF. Welcome to the blogosphere!
Yay you have a blog now! I can read about your life easily and conveniently! Also, I like these pictures.
Glad to welcome you to the blogosphere. I’ll shortly add you to my newsreader (that is, after work).
[…] Last Sunday after hiking with Mark, Marcia, and Stephanie, I felt a burning sensation in my nasal cavity right above the palate. It was as if a morsel of food had gotten stuck up there (and was trying to slide down). Or perhaps that chili cheese dog I had before walking across the bridge wasn’t such a hot idea. […]
