I don’t know about you, but I like bathroom humor. It turns out that while kiwi toilets are consistently clean, they also have interesting signs.
For example:
That makes me nervous about other countries where it is customary to throw your used paper in the bin. Yuk. At least they’d use paper…
This one is sooooooo kiwi.
But of course! Toilets for bungy jumpers… I didn’t jump, but used it anyway.
And this one has a cute pun…
We could be in “Marlboro” district, hehehe.
Ma chérie, j’aime ton humour et tu m’amuses. Bref !!! No comment, les photos parlent d’elle même. Doux baisers ma chérie Je t’aime
I don’t want to scare you but putting used toilet paper in the bin and not in the bowl is standard practice in pretty much every South American country I’ve been to, and most hostels have signs to this effect.
It’s a bit daunting to start with, but you soon develop a technique that you’re comfortable with!
Jonathan – I guess it makes sense considering most countries don’t exactly have adequate sewage treatment. I suppose one can get used to anything and as you say… develop a technique.
